Description
Características
A micron rating for a disposable groundwater / sewage filter is related to its pore size and is a generalized way of indicating the filter’s ability to capture particulates. In simple terms, the lower the micron rating, the more efficient the filter is at capturing smaller particles.
The cm² medium belongs to the actual size of the filter medium, which is directly correlated with the effectiveness of the medium’s capacity to filter sediments. The lower the turbidity in the liquid, the lower the cm² required. Conversely, the greater the turbidity in the liquid, the greater the cm2 required.
Funcionamiento
The .45-micron 700 cm² filter can be used in many ways:
1. Pump directly into the filter: The filter can be used in-line with any water pump with the correct pressure.
2. Gravity feed from the bailer directly to the filter: The filter can be used as a gravity feed filter for use with disposable bailers (FED (Filter Drain Device). This device is optional
3. Pressurized bailer directly on the filter: Filter Can be used with the pressurized bailer system.
4. Pressurized transfer container directly on the filter: Filter Can be used with a pressurized transfer container system with hand pump.
