Activated carbon filter for water treatment

Activated carbon filter for water treatment

Active carbon filters for the treatment of polluted water. Available in various dimensions to suit the project in question.

Description

Características

The filters are made of carbon steel, and also receive an internal and external treatment, by immersion and base primer. Subsequently, it is painted by electrostatic projection of polyester epoxy powder paint.

The base of the interior of the filter can be designed with nozzles or collector arms, according to needs.

Designed to work with low filtration speeds, that is, those between 5 and 10 m / h.

On the other hand, they have filling and emptying mouths that facilitate cleaning tasks. Possibility of ebonite manufacturing specifically indicated for seawater.

Possibility of installing a counter-cleaning system for filter maintenance. Said cleaning is carried out by reversing the flow or by regenerating the filter material.

Working pressure

  •  Maximum pressure: 8 kg / cm².
  • Available maximum pressure: 16 kg / cm².
  • Test pressure: 12 kg / cm².

Funcionamiento

Filtration is produced by the retention of dirt particles in the mantle created by the filter element that it contains throughout the filter bed, throughout its depth.

Aplicaciones

Treatment of drinking water, desalination, wastewater, process water recirculation, water purification, absorption of pollutants.

These filters can also be used with siliceous sand, volcanic sand and anthracite.
