The Solinst Peristaltic Pump (Model 410) is a portable, waterproof peristaltic sampling pump specifically designed for field use. Its mechanical peristalsis operation uses rotating rollers that compress the silicone tubing, creating a vacuum that gently moves liquids or gases from shallow wells and surface water bodies. This pump is ideal for sampling groundwater from shallow wells, surface water, or vapors, offering reversible flow and variable speed to adapt to different sampling conditions. 

Compact, lightweight, and easy to use, the Solinst 410 connects to a 12 V DC power source using a 3 m cable with alligator clips, allowing for use with vehicle or portable batteries in the field. Its robust metal casing without openings and the transparent head for quick tube inspection ensure durability, easy maintenance, and high sample integrity by preventing cross-contamination.

  • The speed is variable and reversible. It can be used with silicone tubing of 3/8” or 5/8” (10 – 16 mm).
  • Uses an external 12 V DC battery and can pump from 10 milliliters per minute up to 3 liters per minute in purging mode.
  • Power supply: 12 V battery, 3 to 5 A. The motor incorporates a speed controller.
  • Flow rates: 60 ml/min (in sampling mode) to 3 l/min (in purging mode). The motor includes a 5 A fuse and reverse polarity protection.

The Solinst Peristaltic Pump features a transparent head cover that allows for quick and convenient inspection of the internal head area and tubing before and during operation.

The head cover is easily removed for cleaning or hose replacement.

The hose guides in the head are designed to hold the hose securely in position during sampling, therefore, no additional clamps are required for the silicone hose.

The pump's standard hose is 5/8" OD (16 mm) medical-grade silicone, which easily connects to a 1/2" OD (13 mm) hose for well sampling.

The adapter kit allows for the use of 3/8" OD (10 mm) hose for lower sampling flow rates. This hose easily connects to a 1/4" OD (6 mm) hose for well sampling.
