Description

The 3001 Desk Reader 5 USB Assembly is an optical communication device for Solinst monitoring systems. Unlike portable field solutions (such as the DataGrabber 5), this reader is designed for use in fixed installations or at the office, offering a fast and stable method to connect your data loggers to your PC and transfer information using the Solinst Levelogger software, compatible with Windows systems.

Performance

1. Physical Installation: connect the reader to your computer’s USB port before starting the Levelogger software.

2. Connection to the datalogger: optically attach the reader to the top of the datalogger or use the appropriate optical adapter/cable.

3. Levelogger Software: open the software and it will automatically detect the connected reader and datalogger.

4. Data download and management: from the software, you can read stored data, view graphs, set sampling intervals, and export results to standard formats.

5. Secure disconnection: once the transfer or configuration is complete, safely disconnect the reader.
