- The oleophilic belt is designed to operate in extreme conditions and withstands temperatures up to 100°C (A.I.)
- The water pH can range from 6 to 10. The Abanaki PetroXtractor comes with a head pulley guard, adjustable wiper brush assembly, foam belt, rear pulley, fractional hp, 110 VAC, 60 Hz gear motor, and assembly/maintenance instructions. The equipment motor is a TEFC fractional hp, 115 VAC, single-phase, 60 Hz gear motor, including a 245 cm cable with an electrical plug.

The oleophilic belt is composed of a flexible polymer that allows it significant mobility. A counterweight is placed at the lower end of the belt to tension it; this depends on the belt's length and the product's viscosity. Thanks to an additional motor and a pulley system, the belt is in continuous rotation, recovering the hydrocarbon through a selective methodology.
