VAPOR PIN CAPSULES
Eurofins (USA), SiREM Lab and Vapor Pin have partnered to configure, develop and validate a passive setup of the Waterloo Membrane Sampler (WMS) that can be easily implemented in combination with the Vapor Pin sampling device.
The innovative integration of the WMSTM (passive permeation sampler for measuring time-weighted average concentration of VOCs) and Vapor Pin samplers creates a powerful and versatile solution designed to revolutionize environmental monitoring processes, site characterization and gas evaluation.
Key features and benefits
  1. Time-weighted average concentration measurement – WMSTM-VP enables precise and continuous monitoring of VOC concentrations over extended periods. This feature ensures comprehensive data collection on VOC levels, allowing a deeper understanding of pollutant behaviors and trends.
  2. Versatile – Switch between active and passive sampling using a single WMSTM-VP sampling device.
  3. Easy to use – The WMSTM-VP's user-friendly system simplifies the setup and deployment process, allowing easy handling even by non-specialized personnel.
  4. Discreet design – The product can incorporate the Vapor Pin® sampling device with a stainless steel cover, concealing the sampling device within the substructure and providing a sleek, seamless outer appearance.

It is installed directly into the subsurface through perforated or slab-inserted sampling points, connected by hoses to the collection system. During sampling, soil gas is drawn and filtered, maintaining sample integrity and preventing external contamination.

The data obtained allow for the assessment of the presence of hydrocarbon vapors or other contaminant gases, ensuring safe, accurate, and reliable measurements for laboratory analysis or continuous environmental monitoring.
