The Levelogger Junior 5 is a compact and high-precision level and temperature logger, designed for continuous monitoring of groundwater levels, wells, rivers, and reservoirs. It is part of the Levelogger family, offering an economical and reliable solution for environmental and hydrogeological monitoring projects.
This device measures water level (pressure) and temperature, autonomously storing the data over long periods. Its robust, compact, and waterproof design allows for direct installation in monitoring wells, even in challenging environmental conditions. Thanks to its low power consumption, the Levelogger Junior 5 is ideal for long-term monitoring campaigns.
It is widely used by environmental consultancies, laboratories, universities, and water management agencies, providing accurate and consistent data for hydrogeological studies and environmental control.
The Levelogger Junior 5 records absolute pressure and uses the same durable Hastelloy® sensor as the Levelogger 5. The Hastelloy sensor performs excellently in harsh environments, offering better thermal response times and temperature compensation and can withstand up to 2 times the pressure without sustaining permanent damage.
The Levelogger 5 Junior has a memory capacity of 75,000 temperature and level readings. The readings are linear with selectable intervals between 0.5 seconds and up to 99 hours. The accuracy is 0.1% of full scale (FS) and the factory calibration is lifelong.
Programming
The programming of the Levelogger 5 Junior is the same as in the Levelogger 5. A Desktop Reader 5, Field Reader 5 or PC Interface Cable connects the Leveloggers to a laptop or desktop computer. The intuitive Levelogger software automatically detects the type of Levelogger that is connected. Programming, data downloading, management and export are intuitive tasks. The Real Time View option allows immediate appreciation of water level and temperature behavior and data, regardless of the measurement interval programming.

An intelligent alternative for programming, data collection, viewing and sharing is the Solinst App Interface, which uses Bluetooth® wireless technology to connect all Levelogger series products to your smart device using the Solinst app.
