The Levelogger 5 LTC samples conductivity, water levels, and temperature. It combines a datalogger, 8-year battery, Hastelloy pressure sensor, temperature detector, and conductivity sensor all within a hermetically sealed casing, measuring 22mm x 208mm (7/8″ x 8.2″). The baked-on coating using polymerization technology protects the Levelogger's body from corrosion, abrasion, and high temperatures. The conductivity sensor is a 4-electrode platinum sensor with autoranging capability. With minimal maintenance, the sealed Levelogger 5 LTC is simple to clean and calibrate, even in the field.

Within the software, the conductivity calibrator and automatic compensator guide the user to ensure data accuracy. The compensator also converts conductivity readings to Specific Conductance corrected to 25 degrees Celsius.

The Levelogger software allows you to easily set your preferences, download and display data in graph or table format, and also export it to other programs. The Real Time View option allows you to instantly see live readings of conductivity, water level, and temperature.

Leveloggers are easy to use; installation can be done with direct reading cables or by cable or rope suspension. The Levelogger 5 LTC is compatible with the SDI-12 protocol using the Solinst SDI-12 interface cable.

Download data in the field using the new Field Reader 5, DataGrabber 5 USB to transfer data, or by Bluetooth^®using the Levelogger 5 App Interface and your smart device. Integrate the Levelogger 5 LTC with a Solinst Telemetry system.

Biofouling Protection Mesh

When a Levelogger 5 LTC is used for an extended period, there is a risk of biological fouling on the pressure sensor or conductivity cell, which can compromise its readings.

The biofouling protection mesh is designed to reduce unwanted buildup of microorganisms, plants, algae, or organisms like barnacles and mussels on the instrument's sensors. The biofouling protection mesh consists of a Delrin sleeve wrapped in copper wire. Slide over the sensor end of the Levelogger 5 LTC, where it is held with a compression fitting

Due to the natural biofouling resistance properties of copper, the biofouling protection mesh is a cost-effective option for extending the usable time of a Levelogger 5 LTC. It reduces site visits and time spent cleaning the Leveloggers, as well as improving long-term performance, ensuring accurate sensor measurements.

Levelogger 5 App and Interface

The Solinst Levelogger App is designed to communicate with Solinst dataloggers through a smart device. Programming options include start/stop, data downloading, linear and real-time sampling, future start/stop, and GPS coordinates.

The Levelogger 5 App Interface uses wireless Bluetooth^®technology to connect with your smart device running the Solinst Levelogger App. Use our Levelogger 5 App Interface and a Solinst direct read cable to communicate with the Levelogger in a well and email data files from the field (see Model 3001 Solinst Levelogger 5 App Interface technical sheets).

Instantly add cellular telemetry to your Levelogger 5 LTC and connect it to a LevelSender 5 model 9500. Send data via email or SMS from remote stations to the desired location. The LevelSender 5 simplifies telemetry setup by working with Solinst direct read cables and is compatible with the complete series of Levelogger product line.
