High reliability equipment specifically designed to be installed in drainage systems of parking lots, workshops, service stations, industrial areas, or vehicle washing areas where there is a risk of hydrocarbons entering the runoff waters. Made of 100% recyclable rotationally molded polyethylene, this separator uses the density difference between water and hydrocarbons to separate and retain light liquids (like oils and fuels) through a removable coalescing filter, which promotes the aggregation and flotation of hydrocarbon micro-droplets. Additionally, it incorporates a calibrated automatic shutter that blocks the outlet when the hydrocarbon level is excessive, ensuring environmental protection and compliance with current regulations.

  • Nominal flow rate: 25 l/s
  • Material: Rotomolded polyethylene, lightweight and 100% recyclable
  • Separation principle: Density difference + coalescence
  • Coalescing filter: Removable and easy to clean
  • Automatic shutter: System preventing accidental discharge of hydrocarbons
  • Inlet and outlet: Connections adaptable to PVC
  • Regulatory compliance: Equipment typically designed to meet EN 858 Class I standards (depending on configuration)
  • Installation: Buried or in adapted chamber
  • Available options: Optical/acoustic alarms, cover enhancements, extensions (depending on model and configurations)
  • Parking lots and garages
  • Mechanical workshops and maintenance areas
  • Service stations and refueling points
  • Vehicle washing areas
  • Industries with oils, fuels or light liquids
  • Facilities with strict environmental requirements for water discharges

The separator operates in three stages:

  1. Contaminated water entry: The water with hydrocarbons flows into the tank.
  2. Decantation + coalescence: The difference in density between water and hydrocarbons causes the latter to rise. The coalescent filter helps small droplets to merge into larger ones, facilitating their flotation.
  3. Retention and blocking: The hydrocarbons float and accumulate in the upper chamber, while the automatic shutter prevents them from returning or entering the evacuation network when the concentration is high.
  • High purification efficiency, effectively retaining free hydrocarbons present in the water.
  • Easy maintenance, thanks to the removable coalescing filter and accessibility to the interior of the equipment.
  • Durability and resistance to corrosion as it is made of polyethylene.
  • Automatic shut-off system, preventing accidental spills and protecting the sanitation network.
  • Recyclable material, supporting sustainable solutions.
  • Installation flexibility and customized options, according to project needs.
