The GEOSUB pump uses a single-stage submersible design with stainless steel components and durable materials to ensure long service life and facilitate decontamination between uses. It is powered by a 12 V battery, making it a practical solution for field operations without electrical grid access. 

The equipment is installed inside the well, and by supplying power from a controller or external battery, it drives the water to the surface through the discharge pipe.
