This tip is part of soil gas sampling systems and is complemented by extensions and manual or mechanical drilling equipment.
Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel (300 series) and having a 400 series stainless steel tip, this accessory offers maximum corrosion resistance and durability, which is essential in environmental sampling where material integrity and minimal contamination are critical.
The AMS 210.01 retractable tip can be driven to the sampling point with slide hammers or drills equipped with appropriate adapters and, once in position, it opens by retracting the inner rod to expose the ports that allow vapor or water entry through a fluoropolymer hose connected to the surface.

The AMS retractable tip is coupled to the corresponding sampling system and inserted into the soil or sediment. During penetration, the tip allows for controlled entry of material, and when withdrawn, the retractable mechanism closes, retaining the sample inside.
