The Solinst Model 415 12V Submersible Pump is a portable, efficient, and adjustable groundwater sampling and purging solution designed for field use in monitoring wells. Its compact and short design allows it to move easily within narrow wells without getting stuck, making it especially suitable for environmental, hydrological, and water quality control applications. The pump connects to a compact 12V controller that allows easy flow rate adjustment from low to high flows, providing the operator with full control over sampling. 

This lightweight and versatile system supports sampling depths of up to 36.5m (120ft) and can achieve flow rates of up to 13.5 L/min (3.6 gpm) in shallow conditions. The pump is powered by a 12V direct current battery (such as an AGM or vehicle battery), allowing its use in locations without access to the power grid, ideal for fieldwork in wells or remote systems.

The 12V Submersible Pump System from Solinst includes the 12V submersible pump with cable, and the 12V pump controller.

The piping (sold separately). The power supply is provided by the user.

The 12V submersible pump cable simply connects to the 12V pump controller, which then connects to a 12V power source. The 3/8" (9.5 mm) ID LDPE sample tubing is inserted into the barbed fitting of the 12V pump.

The LED lights on the controller indicate the status of the 12V submersible pump system, including battery voltage, proper battery connection, normal operation, and maximum flow rate. It has an easy-reset circuit breaker (no fuse to replace).

Simply turn the dial on the 12V pump controller clockwise to increase the voltage to the controller, which spins the pump motor faster and increases flow rate.
