This system automatically recovers light hydrocarbons present in aquifers, activating only when the pump is completely filled with product, ensuring efficient operation without the need for additional sensors or controls. Its versatile design allows the floating intake to be removed to convert the equipment into a total fluids extraction pump once the primary LNAPL is eliminated.
Thanks to its pneumatic operation, high-durability materials construction, and internal ON/OFF control via float, the AutoSkimmer™ AP2 is a reliable, safe, and intrinsically safe solution widely used and validated in remediation projects worldwide.

The AutoSkimmer™ AP2 operates using compressed air and activates only when the pump is completely filled with free product. The system automatically detects the presence of LNAPL thanks to its internal mechanism, starting the pumping cycle without external sensors. The SPG floating intake adjusts to the product level, allowing precise recovery even when the layer thickness decreases. Once the LNAPL is reduced, the system can easily adapt for total fluids pumping.
