Description

Performance

• Insert an appropriate liner if necessary.
• Thread the sample cap and sample cup together and tighten.
• Attach your extension to the top of the sampler.
• Place a cross handle or sliding hammer on the extension and tighten.
• To collect a sample using a Cross Handle, turn the Cross Handle clockwise while pushing down. If using a sliding hammer, raise the sliding hammer and let it drop to drive the sampler into the ground. Remove the sampler by pulling up on the handle or hammering it back.
• Disconnect the sampler from the extension. Keeping the sampler vertical, remove the sampler cap.
  If using a liner, remove the liner and place plastic caps on each end of the liner.
• Clean the sampler and ensure all soil particles are removed from the threads. Use a cleaning brush if necessary.
