Gas sampling in wellhead during a pilot test
The high vacuum pump used during the pilot test has a large air extraction capacity along with the ability to operate at -0.9 Bars, but it implies that the motor itself can excessively heat the subsurface air to be sampled and measured with a PID.
Using the High Vacuum Sampler allows us to measure and sample the gases at the wellhead without having to stop the pilot test. This way we achieve a more representative sampling, as the physico-chemical characteristics are not altered by the temperature.
